Sprout Cooking School for Kids
Join us for our School Holiday Cooking School in July and learn how to cook a simple and nutritious dish, thanks to the awesome crew from Sprout. There will be two classes geared towards different age groups:
Mini Chefs (for 5-7 year olds) and Junior Chefs (for 8-12 year olds).
The classes will run for approximately 45 minutes but we ask that parents/guardians remain close by in case they finish sooner.
The dishes will vary between sessions and will depend on the produce that is available in centre at the time. Please let us know if your child has any specific dietary requirements to ensure they can be catered for. All cooking equipment/utensils, ingredients and aprons will be provided for use during the class. Your child will have the option of eating their dish after the class or taking it away with them in a container provided by Sprout.
The classes are facilitated by trained staff from Sprout and the recipes used are provided by accredited practicing dietician, Themis Chryssidis and celebrity cook, Callum Hann. Attendance of Callum and/or Themis cannot be guaranteed at every class. Every child will receive a recipe card to take home with them.
Bookings are essential. The cost is $10+ booking fee. For safety reasons the minimum age for this event is 5 years.
